Taylor
has now been released from the Hospital. Special Thanks to those who
sent their prayers and thoughts to us during this difficult time. Also
Thank you to Dr. Brian Kogan, and all the staff at the Sibley Heart
Center at Children's Health Care of Atlanta - They are the BEST!
Please continue to pray for all the other children that are under
treatment there. (Click the Picture to the left)

Taylor
had a great Wednesday. He was X-Rayed and Echo scanned and everything
with his heart appears to be healing perfectly. He had his chest tube
taken out today and the wires that were still attached to his heart -
just in case he needed a pacemaker. He is a real brave little boy and
I am so proud of him.
Doctor
Kogon is talking like he will be released on Thursday or Friday, which
is only 4 or 5 days from having his heart bypassed. His older brother
Kennedy got to visit today and was impressed with Taylor's room and
all the video games and toys.
I have to say again that I am so impressed with the entire staff here
at Children's Health Care of Atlanta - Eggleston. We have been in
contact with over 50 different employees here and have not had one bad
or even mediocre experience.
I also have to tell you how humbling this has been for me, Taylor and
Special assistant Wendy. There are so many children here in need of
prayer. staying in the cardiac intensive care unit for 24 hours after
the surgery - I saw so many children and parents that had much more
severe problems than Taylor had.
Children with transplants,
and birth defects and so many complications that my heart is
completely broken for them. Please include them in your thoughts and
prayers as you have done for Taylor this week.
I am trying unsuccessfully to hold back tears as I reflect on how many
people that I have never personally met who continue to send me emails
of support for Taylor - Thank You!
I again have great support from Crossroads Church in Newnan. Pastor
Burrel and Pastor Barber have been out as well as Taylor's Sunday
School teacher Mrs. Jessica. Many others have called and asked if we
need anything. Thank You!
Trusting in Him,
Brett
Taylor Wright Update! (Mar

Taylor had his open heart
surgery as scheduled on Monday and He is doing Great. His surgeon Dr.
Brian Kogan at Children's Health Care of Atlanta said everything went
perfectly. Taylor had an Aortic Stenosis, which is a membrane that
blocks blood from pumping through the heart properly. Click
Here to view Taylor in the Hospital.
He had his breathing tube
removed this morning and should be moved out of Intensive Care - into
the Step Down Cardiac Unit today, Tuesday. I want to thank all the
great people all around the country that have sent their prayers and
thoughts, and emails to us during this time. I also want to thank Dr.
Kogon and all the fine staff at CHOA as well - they have all been
GREAT!
I must also thank all the
fine people at Crossroads Church in Newnan, Ga who have been so
supportive. Taylor and I cherish you and your prayers and help! We
also know that the MASTER PHYSICIAN, FATHER GOD hears all of your
prayers! The pictures of Taylor in the Hospital are from 1 hour after
his surgery on Monday.
The photo of Taylor and I on the road are from last weekend when he
and I were in Ashville NC visiting my mother. We went for a walk to
talk about the upcoming surgery. (Click the picture to the right)
I love him so very much
